A suburb in two halves
Embleton is overwhelmingly 1950s to 1970s detached housing, now well into its maintenance years. Two things have reshaped it since. Tonkin Highway was cut through in the early 1980s and opened in 1984, splitting Beechboro Road into a north and a south section — for a mobile locksmith, knowing which side of that you are on is the difference between a quick run and a long one. And in December 2024 Morley station opened on the Broun Avenue flyover, with a twelve-stand bus interchange and a four-hundred-bay car park, which straddles Embleton and Morley.
The residential job here is shaped by that 41 per cent mortgage figure. These are people who have recently bought an older house, and the sensible first move after settlement is to rekey, because there is no way to know how many keys are out there. Re-pinning the existing locks does it without replacing anything.
The other half of Embleton is not residential at all. The area between Embleton Avenue and Tonkin Highway is zoned industrial, and Collier Road is lined on both sides with industrial buildings from the Beechboro Road intersection eastward. That means roller door locks, heavy-duty deadlocks, padlocks, and rekeying a unit when a lease turns over or a staff member leaves. We have just bought here. What should we do about the locks?

Morley station opened in December 2024 on the Broun Avenue flyover and straddles Embleton and Morley. It is not called Embleton station, but it is the one you would use.
Can I get restricted keys so staff cannot copy them?
Yes, we can fit restricted-profile cylinders so keys can only be cut with your authority. That is different from a master key system, which we do not do.
