What people call us about

Jason window won’t lock

The catch won’t hold the sash shut, or the key won’t turn in the window lock.

Jason door handle broken

A sliding door handle that’s loose, cracked or no longer locks the door.

Stiff Trilock

The lever drags, the deadbolt won’t throw, or the key is hard to turn.

New Trilock to fit

You’ve bought a Trilock set and want it fitted and keyed to the house.

Good to know

Jason and Trilock, explained

Why Jason parts matter

Jason makes aluminium windows and sliding doors, and makes locks and handles to fit its own frames. Its lever lock handle, for example, is listed for residential sliding and stacking doors from 2008 onwards (Jason Windows shop). So the first thing we check is the style and age of your window or door, and then we fit the part made for it.

We carry Jason locks and parts in the van, so there’s usually no wait for parts.

What a Trilock is

Trilock is Gainsborough’s front door set. Gainsborough says it combines lockset, deadbolt and passage functions in one system (Gainsborough Hardware).

Bought one yourself?

Plenty of people pick up a Trilock at the hardware store and then need it fitted. We fit it, check the door closes and deadlocks properly, and, if you want one key for the whole house, rekey your other locks to match in the same visit. See lock rekeying.

Repair or replace

A stiff lever, a worn catch or a loose handle is often a repair. If a part is no longer made, we’ll tell you and show you what fits instead. We agree the price before we start, and after-hours work costs more.
