Amco Locksmiths is mobile only. Everything happens where you are — at the house, at the office, or at the car in whatever car park it is sitting in. Keys are cut and programmed on site from the van, so nothing has to be taken away and no vehicle has to be towed. We cover Perth, Western Australia, from a base in Mount Lawley, and we run a 24 hour emergency service.

What "mobile" actually means
The van is the workshop
A shop-based locksmith cuts your key at a counter. That works until the thing that needs fixing is a door, or a car that will not start. Everything we carry — key machines, programming equipment, cylinders, lock hardware and the tools for opening doors without damage — lives in the van, so the job gets done where the problem is.
Nothing gets towed
This is the one that saves people the most. If you have lost every key to your car, a dealer will usually want the car brought to them. We come to the car instead, take the key code from the vehicle, cut a blade and program it to the immobiliser on the spot, for Japanese, Korean and most American-built makes.
No shopfront hours
There is no counter to get to before five o’clock. We run a 24 hour emergency service for lockouts and lost keys. After hours costs more than business hours, and we agree the price with you before we come.
One locksmith, not a call centre
The person who answers the phone is the person who turns up. That matters more than it sounds: you can describe the lock once, get a straight answer about whether it is something we do, and get a price before anyone drives anywhere.
Send a photo first
The fastest way to get an accurate price is a photo. The door edge where the bolt comes out, and the front of the current lock. For a car key, a photo of the key or the badge. We will tell you what it needs before we come out.
Across Perth
We are based in Mount Lawley and work across the inner and eastern suburbs every day, out to roughly twenty kilometres. Beyond that we still come, but we book it and tell you honestly when we can be there rather than promising a time we cannot keep.

Do you have a shop I can come to?
No. Amco is mobile only — there is no shopfront and no counter. We come to you, which is usually quicker anyway because the lock or the car is already where the work needs to happen.
Can you cut a key at my house?
Yes. Keys are cut on site from the van, including house keys, letterbox keys, padlock keys and car keys.
Do I need to tow my car to you?
No, and that is the main reason people call a mobile locksmith. We come to the car and cut and program the key there, for Japanese, Korean and most American-built makes.
How far do you travel?
We are based in Mount Lawley and cover Perth, Western Australia. Inside about twenty kilometres is everyday work. Further out we still come, as a booked job, and we will be straight with you about timing.
Are you available after hours?
Yes, we run a 24 hour emergency service. After hours costs more than business hours and the price is agreed before we come out.
Can you tell me the price over the phone?
Usually yes, once we know the job. Send a photo of the door edge and the front of the lock, or of the car key, and we will tell you what it needs and what it costs before we drive out.
