If every key is gone we take the code from the vehicle itself, cut a new key and program it to the immobiliser where the car is standing. You do not need a working key and the car does not need to be towed. We can also delete the lost key so it will no longer start the engine. Japanese, Korean and most American-built makes, plus Volkswagen spares while a working key exists.

Lost the only key
Tell us where the car is
That is the first question, because it decides everything else. A driveway in Bedford, the top deck of a shopping centre car park, a work site in Malaga, the verge on a road out of town — we come to all of them, and the van carries what the job needs. Nothing is taken away and nothing is towed.
What happens when we get there
We check your identification and the car’s papers, confirm the make, model and year, and get to work. On most vehicles the key is cut and programmed inside about half an hour from that point. You drive away in your own car, from where it was already parked.

Bring, or have to hand
- Photo identification.
- Something showing the car is yours — registration papers, an insurance document or a finance statement.
- The make, model and year, and ideally a photo of the badge on the key if you have an old one.
We check identification on every car job without exception. It is the one thing standing between a locksmith and helping somebody take a car that is not theirs, so nobody gets an argument out of us on it.
Work vehicles and fleets
Utes, vans and four-wheel drives are everyday work — HiLux, Ranger, Triton, Navara, BT-50, Colorado, LandCruiser, Prado, Patrol, HiAce and Transit. A vehicle standing idle costs a business more per hour than the key does. If several vehicles need doing, we come to the yard and do them in one visit rather than one at a time.
Which makes we can do
All the Japanese makes, plus Hyundai, Kia and most American-built cars including Ford and Holden. For a Volkswagen we can make a spare while a working key still exists. Other European and Chinese makes we open without a mark, but the key itself has to come from a dealer or a marque specialist — and we will say so on the phone rather than drive out and waste your time. Nights and weekends
Keys go missing at the beach on a Sunday and outside a restaurant at eleven at night. We run a 24 hour emergency service. After hours costs more than business hours, and we agree the price with you before we come out.
Then get a spare

Where can you come to?
Anywhere the car is in Perth, Western Australia — a driveway, a work car park, a shopping centre deck, a beach car park or the side of the road. The van carries everything the job needs.
Do I have to be with the car?
Yes. We need you or the registered owner there with photo identification and the car’s papers before we make a key. If that is a problem, ring us and we will talk through what is possible.
How long will I be waiting at the car?
Once we are there, most keys are cut and programmed inside about half an hour. We will not promise you an arrival time, but we will tell you honestly when we can get to you so you can decide whether to wait or come back.
Can you do more than one work vehicle at once?
Yes. If a business has several utes or vans needing keys, we come to the yard and do them in one visit, which works out better than one at a time.
What should I have ready when I call?
The make, model and year, where the car is parked, and whether any key at all still exists. Photo identification and proof the car is yours, which we check on every job.
What if my car is a make you don’t cut keys for?
We will tell you on the phone before you book, not after we arrive. We can still open the car without a mark, and we will point you to who can make the key.
